Simulated Native Prairie

This wildflower meadow was planted in 1995 in an effort to
simulate an actual native prairie. Fescue grass, known as "prairie wool", was
planted with the wildflowers. Being a slower growing native grass, it gives the
wildflowers a better chance to develop their extensive root systems.
Dedicated to Preserving and Restoring Native Canadian Wild Flowers.
