If you require seed for a flower we have not included here, contact us as we have limited
availability of many other species.

Hairy Golden Aster ( Chrysopsis villosa):
Creamy white/yellow center blossomed perennial, 30-75 cm. (12-30") tall, blooms June
- July. Slightly branching plant but has appearance of a single stem. Will grow in
moist, low - lying areas or disturbed areas. Seed heads can be used in dried floral
arrangements.
Giant Hyssop (Agastache foeniculum):
Blue/violet perennial, 30-90 cm. (12-36") tall, blooms in July and August.
It has a camphor-like odour. Will grow on well-drained regular soils in full
sun to partial shade. Seed in early June or late fall. Good for low hedges.
Attracts: bees. Can be used in floral arrangements.
Mountain Goldenrod (Solidago decumbens):
Yellow perennial, 10-40 cm. (4-16") tall, blooms August to late September.
Grows in poor soil in full sun. Seed in early June or late fall.
Attracts: Butterflies and other insects. Goldenrod does not cause hay fever.
Adds bright color to fall garden. Can be used in floral arrangements.
Stiff Goldenrod (Solidago rigida):
Yellow perennial, 10-40 cm. (4-16") tall, blooms August to early October.
Grows well in average to poor, well-drained soil in full sun. (See Mountain
Goldenrod for further details).
Velvety Goldenrod (Solidago mollis):
Yellow perennial, 20-50 cm. (8-20") tall, blooms July to September.
Grows well in sandy soils in full sun to partial shade. Spreads rapidly and forms
colonies so best to contain it. Seed in early June (stratify) or late fall.

Paintbrush spp. (Castillija spp.):
Red/pink/white perennial, 30-60 cm. (12-24") tall, blooms July - August.
Will grow in poorer soils in full sun. Seed in early June (stratify) or late
fall. May be difficult to get established - said to be parasitic on roots of other
perennials. Very showy, attractive plant. Companions: other perennials.
